Richard Glenn Deuker: Loris
1928 – 2025
Richard Glenn Deuker passed away on Monday, Feb. 24, at his home in Loris following an illness. He was 96.
Born May 1, 1928 in Dover, Ohio, he was the son of the late Glenn Cornelius Deuker and the late Opal King Deuker.
Mr. Deuker worked as a truck driver and gas well supervisor until his retirement and was a longtime active member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Longs.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth Deuker; a brother Jerry Deuker and wife, Mira; and many loving grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Deuker was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Marie Hensel Deuker; a daughter, Connie Young; daughter-in-law Loretta Deuker; a brother, Bud Cornelius Deuker; a sister, Bev Glidden; and grandson Mark Glidden.
Memorial services at Ebenezer United Methodist Church will be announced at a later date. Mr. Deuker will have committal services at Union Hill Cemetery in Sugarcreek, Ohio at a later date.
