Donald Ray Timmons: Tabor City

1960 – 2025

     Donald Ray Timmons of Tabor City died Thursday, May 22. He was 65.

     Born May 18, 1960 in Horry County, he was the son of the late James Herbert Timmons and Annie Ruth Bordeaux Timmons.

     He was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.

     In addition to his parent’s, he was preceded in death by his son, Donald Bradley Timmons.

     He is survived by his wife, Julie Lynn Timmons of the home; one brother, Earl Timmons of Loris; a sister, Joyce Ann Timmons of Gadsden, Alabama; three grandchildren, Tiffany, Lindsey, and Donavan; and five great grandchildren.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 26, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, in the in Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Hilburn Cemetery, Whiteville.
