Karie Denise Strickland: Loris

1985 – 2025

     Karie Denise Strickland of Loris died Saturday, Aug. 9, in McLeod Loris hospital. She was 39.

     Born Nov. 15, 1985, she was the daughter of the late Eldon Lee Strickland and Karen Denise Johnson Strickland.

     She is survived by two daughters, Kara Denise Fowler and Miracle Brooke Fowler of Tabor City; her lifelong partner, Monty Suggs; and other extended family.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Tristan Brantlee Fowler; and one brother, Eldon Kenneth Strickland.

     A memorial service was planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
