Darlene Stevens Reese Cannon: Tabor City

1962 – 2025

     Darlene Stevens Reese Cannon of Tabor City died Thursday, Sept. 4. She was 62.

     Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Reese Sr. and Patricia Diane Stevens Spivey.

     She is survived by her “Second Mom” Jeanette Cartrette of Loris; sisters Charlene Reese of Baltimore, Maryland, Michelle Tyron and Denise Strickland of Loris, and Lori Norris of Tabor City; brothers Mickey Reese of Loris and Jerome Reese of Whiteville; nine nieces and nephews; and her beloved fur baby “Dewie”.

     A memorial service was planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, in Freedom Original Free Will Baptist Church, 1280 East Swamp Fox Hwy East, Tabor City.
