Dorothy Kathleen Roberts Prince: Loris

1939 – 2025

     Dorothy “Dot” Kathleen Roberts Prince of Loris passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at Watercrest Assisted Living and Memory Care Center. She was 86.

     Born Feb. 14, 1939, in Weaverville, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Craig Roberts and the late Mary Kennedy Roberts.

     Survivors include her loving husband, Rodney Prince; a daughter, Lyn Kersey; step-children, Angel Ann Prince, Mark Prince, and Michael Prince; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law and a brother-in-law.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Prince was predeceased by her daughter, Debbie Ballard; and a brother-in-law.

     Private memorial services were planned.

     Family requests that memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice.
