Janis Jan Correll Estabrook: Longs

1952 – 2025

     Janis Jan Correll Estabrook of Longs passed away on Thursday, Dec. 4, at McLeod Seacoast hospital. She was 73.

     Born Sept. 18, 1952, in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Carl Jackson Correll and the late Willene Violet Payne Correll.

     Mrs. Estabrook worked as an administrator for the Richland County Court System until her retirement. In her personal life, she loved to read, cook, and play puzzle games. She had a gift for caring for others and was always eager to lend a helping hand. Mrs. Estabrook was a devoted member of St. Paul’s Waccamaw Methodist Church in Pawleys Island, but above all else, she treasured her family, who brought her the greatest joy.

     Survivors include her loving husband of 54 years, Charles Robert Estabrook, Jr.; sons Neil Estabrook (Renee) and Keith Estabrook (Katie); four grandchildren, Katie Estabrook, Karly Estabrook, Ethan Estabrook, and Violet Estabrook; a brother, Lanny Correll, Sr.; sisters Connie Corriher (Charles), and Renee Shirer (Donnie); and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family.

     Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
