Daniel Charles Williams: Loris

1948 – 2026

     Daniel “Danny” Charles Williams of Loris passed away on Sunday, Jan. 25, at McLeod Loris hospital. He was 77.

     Born Dec. 20, 1948, in Newport News, Virginia, he was the son of the late Charles Dorsey Williams and the late Dorothy Lee Cole Williams.

     Survivors include his loving wife, Phyllis Hardee Williams; children Dana Williams Smith and Bryan Leigh Williams; sisters Susan Miran and Sylvia Goodman; three grandchildren; and other extended family.

     Family planned to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28, at Hardwick Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Loris First Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Phillips and Rev. Mike Belue officiating, committal services following at Twin City Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
