Jack Frank Davis: Loris
1941 – 2026
Jack Frank Davis of Loris passed away on Saturday, February 21, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was 85.
Born Jan. 7, 1941, in Hamlet, he was the son of the late Henry Bizzle Davis and the late Kate Lela Cashwell Davis. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his loving wife, Teresa Ann Davis; sons Patrick Fowler, Timmy Davis, and Delbert Baysden; a step-son, Richie Fowler; daughters Elizabeth Collins, Cindy Hayes, Patty Miller, Donna Little, and Jessica Davis; eleven grandchildren; and many loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was predeceased by his daughter, Jackie Darlene Davis; and eight brothers and sisters, Nelson Davis, Jefferson Davis, Nina Dougan, Gretta DeBerry, Woodrow Davis, Doug Davis, Henry Davis, Jr, and Hob Davis.
Family planned to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, at Hardwick Funeral Home.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Jon Johnson officiating, committal services, with military honors, following at Twin City Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
