Roger Dale Todd: Chadbourn

1944 – 2026

     Roger Dale Todd of Chadbourn passed away Wednesday, July 8, in his home surrounded by his family. He was 82.

     Born July 1, 1944, in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Nathan Todd and Elneda Hardin.

     He is survived by two sons, Timmy Todd and Richard Todd of Whiteville; one daughter, Louella Prease of Whiteville; one brother, Russell Todd of Thomasville; six sisters, Joann Drye and Polly Caison of Myrtle Beach, Magaline Porter of Florence, Lisa Boneschans of Thomasville, Sue Todd and Marie Todd; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and six step grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Louise Todd; one son, Billy Wayne Todd; two brothers, Don Todd and Bill Todd; and three sisters, Kathy Todd, Myrtle Todd and Karen Poston.

     Graveside services were planned for 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, in Myrtle Green Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive other family and friends following the service in the cemetery.
