Tex Cleveland Prince: Tabor City
1944 – 2020
Tex Cleveland Prince of Tabor City passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 16, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCareCenter. He was 76.
He was born Jan. 8, 1944 in Columbus County to Gussie Mae Arnette Prince and Carl Cleveland Prince
He is survived by his brothers, Charles “Eddie” Prince and Rocky Prince, both of Tabor City; sisters Mildred Gilmore of Portsmouth, Virginia, Pearl Fax, Mazie Heath and Clara Mae Floyd of Tabor City; special nieces and nephews, Maria McPherson and her children, Logan and Hannah, Natalie Nobles, her husband Michael and their son Matthew.
Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 18, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services were planned for 3 p.m. Friday, June 19, in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
Family will be meeting at the home of Eddie Prince, 2811 Willoughby Road, Tabor City.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, social distancing will be observed and family encourages all who attend to wear a mask.
