Frances Gore Faulk: Nakina

1944 – 2023

     Frances Gore Faulk of Nakina died Tuesday, June 20, in the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte. She was 79.

     Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Montross and Lucille Jacobs Gore.

     She is survived by her husband of 45 years, David Lee Faulk of the home, three sons, Timothy Wayne Floyd and wife Angela of Wilmington, Thomas “Lake” Floyd and wife Kelly of Cerro Gordo, Joshua David Faulk of Cameron; two daughters, Sheri Floyd Wester and husband Mark of Lorena, Texas, Tonya Faulk Averette and husband Donnie of Mebane; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, William Thomas Floyd; a daughter, Sindy Faulk Mishoe; three brothers; and three sisters.

     Visitation was planned from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, June 23, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Memorial services will be held at a later date.
