James David Anderson, Jr.: Loris

1954 – 2024

     James David Anderson, Jr. of Loris passed away on Thursday, March 14, at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. He was 70.

     Mr. Anderson was born March 1, 1954 in Conway. He was the son of the late James “Jim” David Anderson, Sr. and the late Margaret Bell Anderson.

     David loved riding his Harley Davidson, and was an avid racing and car enthusiast who will be dearly missed by his loving family and all who were blessed to have known him.

     Survivors include his son, Jimmy Anderson and wife Cassandra of Loris; a daughter, Michelle Anderson Coletta and husband Vince of Myrtle Beach; their mother Shelley Anderson of Conway; five loving grandchildren, Jameson Anderson, Josie Anderson, Audrey Anderson, Xander Coletta, and Peyton Coletta; a sister, Cheryl Anderson Harrell of Columbia; and nephew Gregory “Andy” Harrell and wife Sarah of Lexington.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lenny Moore, Jr. officiating, committal services following at Anderson Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services at Hardwick Funeral Home.
