Linda Faye Soles: Rockingham

1946 – 2024

     Linda Faye Soles of Rockingham died Saturday, Oct. 19, in First Health Moore Regional Hospital – Richmond, in Rockingham. She was 77.

     Born Dec. 19, 1946 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Gardner Shepard and Myrtle Powell Shepard.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Soles.

     She is survived by one son, Steven Lee Soles of Pickens; two daughters, Teresa Elliott of Cheraw and Melissa Soles of Loris; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

     A graveside memorial service was planned for 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, in Powell Cemetery, Tabor City.
