Gary W. “Bud” Hewitt of Windsor, VA

Gary W. “Bud” Hewitt of Windsor, Virginia passed away on Monday, Dec. 16. He was 91.
He was the son of the late George Wilbur and Isla Rowell Hewitt.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. Hewitt. Mr. Hewitt was a veteran of the US Army where he served in the 82nd Airborne from 1953-1955.
Mr. Hewitt is survived by his children, Gary Devon Hewitt of Windsor, Virginia and Denise Hewitt Spady of Suffolk, Virginia; a sister, Doris V. Hardee of Longs; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and his faithful dog, Charlie.
A funeral service is planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025 in Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel, entombment following at Twin City Memorial Gardens, 1830 US-701 Hwy, Loris.
