Frances Faye Fowler Powell: Loris

1943 – 2025

     Frances Faye Fowler Powell of Loris died Friday, Jan. 3, in McLeod Loris hospital. She was 81.

     Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Wilson and Pet Lewis Fowler. She was the widow of the late Charles Windell Powell.

     She is survived by her three children, Tammy Donahay, Nancy Rowell, and Jonathan Powell all of Loris; a brother, Charles Fowler of Charlotte; six grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 5, in Inman Ward Funeral Home,

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6, in Mt. Zion Baptist Church, burial following in the church cemetery.
