Joan Mills Graham: Loris

1944 – 2025

     Joan Mills Graham passed away on Jan. 23 at her residence in Loris. She was 81.

     Born Jan. 12, 1944, in Laurens, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Alexander Mills and the late Ruth Lynch Mills.

     Mrs. Graham worked as an office manager for Dr. Barrett until her retirement and was a member of Loris First Baptist Church.

     Survivors include her two loving sons, Harvey Graham, III (Paige), and Perrin Graham (Teresa); four grandchildren, Grayson Graham (Madison Hege), Hunter Graham (Arica), Kayla Graham (Jesse Watkins), and Tristen Graham; one great-grandchild, Emery Graham; special niece, Kim Sweet (Dr. Brant); and brother-in-law Lanier Johnson.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Graham was predeceased by her husband, Harvey Arlin Graham, Jr; and sister, Carol Ann Mills Johnson.

     Memorial services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Dr. Gwyn McCutchen and Ronald Fowler officiating. Private committal services were planned.

     Family planned to receive friends during the two hours preceding services at Hardwick Funeral Home.

     Family requests that memorials be made to Loris First Baptist Church, 3117 Main Street, Loris, SC 29569.
