Thurman Jack Norris: Whiteville

1964 – 2025

     Thurman Jack Norris of Whiteville died Thursday, May 8, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice & Life Care Center, Whiteville. He was 60.

     Born Aug. 6, 1964 in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of the late Thurman and Christine Watts Norris.

     He is survived by one daughter, Samantha Norris; a son, Scotty Lovette; two sisters, Wanda Naron Enzor of Whiteville and Linda Norris of Tabor City; and two grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Adron Norris; a stepson, Kendall Nealey; two brothers, Johnny Norris and Donnie Norris; and a sister, Teresa Ward.

     A memorial services was planned for 4 p.m. Saturday, May 10, in Whiteville Freewill Baptist Church, officiated by Pastor Daniel Perritte.
