Meaghan Rhiley Gore: Loris
1994 – 2025
Miss Meaghan Rhiley Gore of Loris, born on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 1994, in Conway, passed peacefully at McLeod Seacoast hospital on Friday, July 25. She was 30.
As a child, Meaghan was a high-spirited, fiery, little girl called “Bean”, with personality and humor for days. Her smile lit up every room she entered. In high school chorus she was awarded the “Ella Fitzgerald Award” for having heart and passion through song. She loved her family and many friends. May her memory be a blessing and a testament to all that knew her.
Surviving family include her parents, Clark and Wendy Gore; sister, Morgan Ingram (Colby); grandparents, Princess A. Buffkin, Steve M. Gore (Eugenia), and Diana B. Jordan; uncle, Cameron Buffkin (Cassidy); aunt, Katherine Graham; nieces, Zoie and Sophie; and cousins, Dally, Marshall, and Landon Buffkin.
Meaghan was predeceased by her “Papa”, Terry R. Buffkin; and step-grandfather Eugene Jordan.
Funeral services were planned for 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, at Lake Swamp Baptist Church with Pastor Dewayne Nobles and Rev. Mike Mathew officiating, committal services following at Lake Swamp Baptist Church Cemetery.
