Dorothy Marlowe Livingston: Loris

1950 – 2025

     Dorothy Marlowe Livingston of Loris passed away on Tuesday, July 29, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 74.

     Born Dec. 5, 1950, in Conway, she was the daughter of the late Ira Buford Marlowe, Sr. and the late Hazel McCormick Marlowe.

     Survivors include her loving daughters, Robbin Livingston, Jennifer Livingston Phillips, and Lois Page Livingston Cox; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Ira Buford Marlowe, Jr.; and sisters Louise Venters, Dianne Sanders, and Tammy Siegel.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Livingston was predeceased by her husband, Robert “Robbie” Lee Livingston; a daughter, Dana Livingston Lewis; a sister, Sandra Skipper; and one grandchild.

     Memorial services were planned for 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. Lloyd Williamson officiating.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services at the funeral home.

     Family requests that memorials be made to the charity of one’s choice.
