Paula Wright Johns: Abbeville

1945 – 2025

     Paula Wright Johns went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, Sept. 12, peacefully in her home in Abbeville. She was 79.

     She was born Nov. 15, 1945 in Mullins, grew up in Tabor City, and graduated from Tabor City High School.

     She was the daughter of the late Mace Wright and Lula Soles Wright and widow of Michael F. Johns.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Wright and Mitchell Wright; three sisters, Judy Dimmery, Linda McLaurin, and Kay Francis Radford; and daughter in law Sussanah Lynnette Johns.

     She is survived by her son, Michael F. Johns, Jr. of Abbeville.

     Graveside services were planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
