Leann Blanchette Fonvielle: Tabor City

1955 – 2025

     Leann Blanchette Fonvielle of Tabor City died Wednesday, Sept. 17. She was 69.

     Born in Oahu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Edward Blanchette and Leona Greenwade Blanchette and wife of the late Leon Edward Fonvielle.

     She is survived by three sons, Leon Edward “Chuck” Fonvielle (Linda) of North Myrtle Beach, Jacob Aaron “Jake” Fonvielle (Jenny) of Tabor City, Jeremy Wynn Fonivelle (Lauren) of Townsend, Delaware; two brothers, Clifford Blanchette of Four Oaks, California and William Blanchette (Doris) of Bluemont, West Virginia; one sister, Donna Blanchette Cottingham (Richard) of Leesburg, Virginia; and four grandchildren, Brody, Ava, Jaxx, and Ana Reese.

     She retired from Atlantic Publishing after 46 years.

     Visitation was planned from noon to 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.

     Graveside services were planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
