Clara Bolin: Loris

1932 – 2025

     Clara Bolin of Loris, affectionately known as “Kloozy,” passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at McLeod Loris hospital. She was 93.

     Born June 3, 1932, in Blacksburg, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Bolin and the late Corrie Dixon Bolin.

     Survivors include a special niece and other extended family and friends.

     In addition to her parents, Miss Bolin was predeceased by her three sisters, Bena Bolin Gregory, Lorene Bolin Richardson, and Gerelene Bolin Humphries; and one brother Dwye “Brother” Bolin.

     Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 29, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Miss Bolin’s nephew, Rev. Rocky Gregory, officiating. Committal services were private.
