Eula Faye Booth: Tabor City

1941 – 2025

     Eula Faye Booth of Tabor City died Wednesday, Dec. 3, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter, Whiteville. He was 84.

     Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Archie Norris and Zellie Nobles Norris.

     In addition to her parent’s, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Glinston “WG” Booth; one son, Ricky Booth; two brothers, Felton Norris and David Lee Norris; and two sisters, Alice Cockerman and Eleanor Cottom.

     She is survived by one daughter, Darlene Booth McDuffie (Billy) of Clarendon; three brothers, Rev. Hollon Norris (Shelby) of Tabor City, Rev. Steward Norris of Tabor City, Casey Norris (Lori) of Tabor City; four sisters, Jeanette Livingston of Tabor City, Alene Tyler of Tabor City, Priscilla Mills, of Whiteville, Hattie Todd of Conway; five grandchildren, Alicia Fowler (Casey), William McDuffie (Brooke), Donovon Todd (Brittany), Skeeter Booth (Alayna), Ryan Booth (Alexis); and six great grandchildren.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, in Emerson Original Freewill Baptist Church, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services in the church.
