Sonja Todd Norris: Tabor City

1946 – 2026

     Sonja Todd Norris of Tabor City died Friday, March 20, in McLeod Seacoast Hospital, Litte River. She was 79.

     Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Hosey Brinston “HB” Todd and Mary Eshter Ward Todd.

     She is survived by one son, Todd Christpher Norris of Little River; a granddaughter, Amanda Brisson Norris of Carey; and one brother, Terry Brinson Todd (Sandy) of Raleigh.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Homer Norris; a son, James Kevin Norris; and one sister, Meredith Suggs.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, in Tabor City Baptist Church, burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.

     Family planned to receive friends from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on March 24 in the church fellowship hall.
