Glennie Lovette Fowler: Tabor City

Glennie Lovette Fowler of Tabor City died Wednesday, March 25, in her home surrounded by her family. She was 81.
Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Lovette and Artie Mae Buffkin Lovette King.
She is survived by her husband, Donnie Lee Fowler of Tabor City; two daughters, Regina Fowler (Timothy) of Loris and Wendy Fowler Gore (Nickey) of Tabor City; one son, Nicole LaDon Fowler of Tabor City; a brother, Wayne King of Whiteville; one sister, Dixie Lovette Cox of North Myrtle Beach; four grandchildren, Zachary LaRue Fowler, Kendall Renee Fowler, Savannah Gore Nye, Chase Nicolas Gore; and one great-grandchild, Saylor Renee Nye.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Grover Cleveland King; three brothers, Harold Lovette, Dale Lovette, Mitchell King; and two sisters, Jeanette Lovette Grainger and Clydia L. Clemons.
A memorial service was planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, April 2, in Iron Hill Baptist Church with a private burial at a later date in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
Visitation was planned for the hour preceding the service in the church.
