Ralph Frederick Tatman Jr.: Tabor City

1957 – 2026

     Ralph Frederick Tatman Jr. of Tabor City (formerly of Alton, Illinois) died April 1, in his home. He was 69.

     Born in Highland, Illinois, he was the son of the late Ralph Frederick Tatman Sr. and Irma Bella Hagler.

     He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

     He is survived by his wife, Diane Marie (Bevfoden) Tatman of Tabor City; children, Stephen Tatman of Tabor City and Heather Johnson of Bethalto, Illinois; two sisters, Judith Rigdon of Pana, Illinois and Pegeen Wiseman of Godfrey; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

     Memorial services were planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, April 9, in Iron Hill Baptist Church with military honors.

     Visitation was planned for the hour preceding services in the church.
