Mary Esta Rankin Jacobs: Loris

1953 – 2026

     Mary Esta Rankin Jacobs of Loris passed away on Tuesday, April 21, at McLeod Loris hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 73.

     Born March 13, 1953, in Dillon, she was the daughter of the late Harry Wilson Rankin, Jr. and the late Esta Mae Norris Rankin.

     Survivors include her loving daughters, Mary Brooks Jacobs Randone, Tracie Jacobs Raulerson, and Kristen Suzann Jacobs; five grandchildren; and other extended family.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jacobs was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, David S. Jacobs; and a brother, Frederick Ross Rankin.

     Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 25, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Buddy Seay officiating. Committal services followed at Princeville Cemetery.
