Michael Williams: Clarendon

1962 – 2026

     Michael Williams of Clarendon passed away Friday, Aug. 7, in his home. He was 64.

     Born Feb. 12, 1962 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Blanco Williams and Irene Norris Williams.

     He is survived by three sons, Jeremy Williams (Haley) and Brandon Williams of Loris, and Jadon Williams of Clarendon; a daughter, Casey Byrd of Clarendon; one brother, Steve Williams of Whiteville; and six grandchildren, Cameron, Dargan, Emery, Haylee, Jaxon, and Haisley.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Alexis Brook Williams; and grandsons Matthew and Noah Williams.

     A memorial service was planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, in Freedom Original Free Will Baptist Church, 1280 Swamp Fox Hwy East, Tabor City.
