Danny Carlton Parker: Tabor City

1955 – 2026

     Danny Carlton Parker of Tabor City, lovingly known to many as “Danny P” and “Pappy,” passed away peacefully on Aug. 15. He was 70.

     He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Parker; children Dwight Parker, Jessica Jenkins, Bobbie Allen, and Michael Vaughan; siblings Ellen Brown, and Charlie Parker; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; and other extended family.

     Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Pearl Parker; his brothers, Jack Parker, Jerry Parker, Larry Parker, and Eddie Parker; and his sister, Sandy Stentz.

     Danny proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1974 to 1976 and remained committed to serving his community throughout his life.

     A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

     In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Danny’s memory to American Legion Post 41, 2556 Main St, Loris, SC 29569, an organization and community he was proud to serve.
