Shirley Ann Floyd Hammond: Loris

1938 – 2024

     Shirley Ann Floyd Hammond of Loris passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 10, following a brief illness with heart failure. She was 85.

     She is the wife of the late Jimmy Hammond.

     She is survived by her two daughters, Audrey Hammond Blair of Loris and Stephanie Hammond Tetterton of Camden; two grandchildren; and other extended family.

     She was predeceased by her husband, Jimmy Hammond; parents Richard H. Floyd, Sr. and Augusta Johnson Floyd; a sister, Retha Floyd Goff; a brother, R.H. Floyd, Jr.; and other extended family.

     Viewing was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.

     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at Green Sea Baptist Church, with graveside services following at Hammond Family Cemetery in Finklea.
