Edward Everett Perry; Nakina

1953 – 2024

     Edward Everett Perry of Nakina died Tuesday, Nov. 26, in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center, Whiteville. He was 71.

     Born Oct. 14, 1953 in Tampa Bay, Florida, he was the son of the late Jack Owen Perry and Jewell Mier Perry.

     He is survived by three step daughters, Sandra Nealey of Tabor City, Sherry Creech of Whiteville, and Annette Cartrette of Loris; two step sons, Sammy Thompson of Whiteville and Danny Thompson of Clarendon; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Gore Perry.
