William “Sandy” A. Woody: Little River

1948 – 2024

     William “Sandy” A. Woody of Little River passed away peacefully on Thursday, Dec. 12. He was 76.

     Born Jan. 19, 1948, in Wilmington, he was the son of the late William Waldo and Beth Rogers Woody.

     He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Debra Norris Woody, and his sister, Lucia Woody. He was preceded in death by his parents.

     A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Lee Funeral Home and Crematory.

     The Woody family would like to say a special thanks to Sunrise Hospice and Greg Williams for all of their kindness. Lee Funeral Home and Crematory of Little River is serving the family.
