Thomas Wayne Spivey: Cibolo, Tex.

1941 – 2025

     Thomas Wayne Spivey (TSgt, USAF Ret.) of Cibolo, Texas, passed away on Jan. 26 at home, surrounded by his family, after a long battle with cancer. He was 83.

     Tom was born on Aug. 6, 1941, to Carvin and Blanchie Spivey in Tabor City.

     Tom enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1960 and served his country honorably until his retirement in August 1980.

     He is survived by his wife, Carole; daughter and son-in-law Terri and Michael Dutton; son and daughter-in-law Chris and Lori Spivey; grandchildren Jessica (Paul) Williard, Matthew (Caitlin) Dutton, Taylor (Wes) Tameifuna, Ella Spivey, Holton and Treston Souquette; great-grandchildren Simon, Benji, Emily Williard, and Rowen Tameifuna; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Carvin and Blanchie Spivey; and brothers Bobby and Andy Spivey.

     Private services will be held at a later date in Fairfax, Oklahoma.
