Doris Hardie Dudley: Chadbourn

Doris Hardie Dudley of Chadbourn died Thursday, May 1, in Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center of Columbus County. She was 92.
Born In Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Hardie and Agnes Hardie.
She was the widow of the late Homer Lee Garrell.
She is survived by two sons, Ronald Garrell (Karen) of Clarendon and Ricky Garrell (Wendy) of Whiteville; a sister, Josephine Cartrette of Chadbourn; daughter-in-law Jeannie Garrell; eleven grandchildren, Donna Stanley (Mitchell), Belinda Mathews (Tommy) April Ray (Mel) Rhonda Harrelson (her late husband Shannon) Brandy Turbeville (Scott) Drew Long (Jessica) Jack Garrell, Justin Garrell, Dallas Inman (Jarad) Matrix Hewitt, Kayla Hewitt; nine great-grandchildren, Hannah Ginter, Jonathan Stanley, Aikin Ezzell, Lillian Ezzell, Grace and Faith Harrelson, Harper Inman, Waylon Inman, Dean Hewitt, Brycen and Carson Long; two great-great grandchildren, Charly Avery Ginther and Ellie Mae Ginther and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one son, Avery Garrell; five brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 4, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.
Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Monday, May 5, in Beaverdam Original Freewill Baptist Church, burial following in Mcpherson Cemetery, Chadbourn.
