Michael David Prince: Loris

1958 – 2026

     Michael David Prince of Loris passed away on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2026, at his home in Loris. He was 67.

     Born on May 3, 1958, in Charleston, he was the son of the late Eldridge Monroe Prince and the late Mary Alice Hucks Prince.

     Survivors include his loving wife, Janet S. Prince; daughters Amber Herring and Bridgette Prince; step-children Chris Fultz, James Fultz, and Jessica Sofield; sisters Julie Skipper and Sharon Goodwin; and many loving grandchildren and extended family.

     Memorial services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Sullivan officiating.

     Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services at the funeral home.
