Angelyn Grainger Hinson: Longs

1937 – 2026

     Angelyn (Ann) Grainger Hinson of Longs passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 11, at McLeod Seacoast hospital. She was 89.

     Born Feb. 11, 1937, in Green Sea, she was the daughter of the late Bradley Homer Grainger and the late Glennie Irene Sarvis Grainger.

     Mrs. Hinson was a homemaker and longtime member of Green Sea Baptist Church. She was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother.

     Survivors include her two daughters; Angelyn Mathews of Indian Land and Penelope Hinson of Longs; and other extended family.

     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hinson was predeceased by her husband, Derl Jason Hinson.

     A graveside service was held at noon on Saturday, Feb. 14, at Green Sea Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Charles Brust officiating.
