David Gerald Nobles: Chadbourn

1938 – 2026

     David Gerald “Jerry” Nobles of the China Grove Community, Chadbourn, passed away Thursday, March 19, in his home. He was 87.

     Born May 14, 1938 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Spurgeon Durant Nobles and Lannie Ward Nobles.

     He is survived by his children, Kimberly Melton of Dillion and Chris Nobles of Chadbourn; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one infant sister, Patricia Ann Nobles; and a son, David G. Nobles Jr.

     A private service with family and friends will be held at China Grove Baptist Church.
