Betty Lou Taylor Bowen: Loris

1940 – 2026

     Betty Lou Taylor Bowen of Loris passed away on Tuesday, March 10, at Loris Rehab and Nursing Center. She was 85.

     Born April 14, 1940, in Pennington Gap, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lola Taylor.

     Survivors include her son, Tony Bowen; four grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and extended family members.

     In addition to her mother, Mrs. Bowen was predeceased by her son, Michael Terry Bowen; a brother, Gary Taylor; and a sister, Rama Jean Kegley.

     Memorial services will be private.
