Randy Dean Fowler: Clarendon
1954 – 2026
Randy Dean Fowler of Clarendon passed away on Thursday, June 4, in Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, Whiteville. He was 71.
Born Oct. 2, 1954 in Loris, he was the son of the late F.M. Fowler and Mavis Ward Fowler. He was a graduate of Williams Township High School. He was employed by Duke Energy for more than 40 years and a member of Mission Valley Original Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Brown Fowler; children Shannon Fowler Christmas (George) of Tabor City, Amber Fowler Greene of Clarendon, Michelle Benton (Jason) of Ash, and David Martin Little (Becky) of Shallotte; grandchildren Carter Greene, Molly Greene, Lily Greene, Addison Greene, Catherine Christmas, Skylar Fulford, Abigail Dressler (Reid), Summer Little, Lily Tenenoff (Tanner), McKenzie Benton, Katelyn Fulford, and Landon Fulford; siblings Ricky Fowler (Melanie), Chucky Fowler (Pam), and Sheila Sykes (Steve); and multiple nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy W. Fowler.
Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, June 7, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in the Bethel Memorial Cemetery.
Family planned to receive friends during the hour preceding services in the chapel.
