James Dimino: Loris
James Dimino passed away at his home in Loris on Monday, June 17. He was 68.
Born in Brooklyn, New York April 27, 1945, he was the son of Vincent and Lena Lucarelli Dimino who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his son Christopher S. Perry.
He attended Brooklyn Technical Institute and graduated from NYU with a degree in mathematics. He had a 30-year career with the Bell System.
He is survived by his wife Judith Dickinson Dimino, his daughter Jessica Dimino, and his grandchildren Jude and Marlee Schonrock. He also leaves behind a large extended family.
Jim requested that no services be held, and that if people would care to contribute to a cause, St Jude’s Children’s Hospital would be his first choice.
