Clarice D. Strickland: Fair Bluff

1937 – 2017

     Clarice D. Strickland of Fair Bluff died Saturday, Sept. 2, in McLeod Hospice House, Florence. She was 80.

     Born July 12, 1937 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late D.H. Dimmery and Tommie Mills Dimmery and the widow of Reginald Strickland.

     She was also predeceased by two sisters, Linda Sanders and Jean Lovette; and one grandchild.

     Mrs. Strickland is survived by daughters Charlotte Strickland of Nichols and Allyson Strickland of Tabor City; a brother, David Dimmery of Lumberton; a sister, Betty Gore of Tabor City; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 4, in Meares Funeral Home, Fair Bluff, with burial in the Cherry Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

     No visitation was planned.
