Beth Watts Rackley: Tabor City
1936 – 2017
Beth Watts Rackley of Tabor City died Sunday, Sept. 3, in the Lower Cape Hospice and LifeCareCenter, Whiteville. She was 80.
Born Sept. 25, 1936 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Roston Lee Watts and Maydee Long Watts and the widow of Paul Earl Rackley.
She is survived by three sons, Garry Rackley (Kaydell) of Loris, Chuck Rackley and Randy Rackley (Nannetta) of Tabor City; a daughter, Ginger Rackley of Tabor City; a sister, Patsy Buffkin of Tabor City; two grandchildren, Natalie Rackley of Wilmington and Bethany Hill of Whiteville; and one great grandchild, Paisley Hill.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Carlyle Watts; and three sisters, Gwen Fowler, Helen Graham, and Eunice Bell.
Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
Visitation was planned for the hour prior to the service in the chapel.
