Vonna Charles Barnhill: Tabor City

1951 – 2018

     Vonna Charles Barnhill of Tabor City died Wednesday, Oct. 31, in Columbus Regional Healthcare. He was 67.

     Born May 7, 1951 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Vonna Barnhill and Mary Shoemaker Barnhill.

     He is survived by his wife, Vicki Rae Long Barnhill of Tabor City; a step daughter, Rachael Caines of Chadbourn; two brothers, Ronald Barnhill of Clarendon and David Ray Barnhill of Tabor City; and several nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Barnhill; one sister; and two brothers.

     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery.

     Family planned to receive friends following the burial in the cemetery.
