Jolena Joy Long Timmons: Clarendon

1967 – 2019

     Jolena Joy Long Timmons of Clarendon died Friday, May 31, in an automobile accident. He was 51.

     Born Nov. 27, 1967 in Robeson County, she was the daughter of Joe Eddie Long and Maylene Inman Long of Nakina, and the wife of Donald Bradley Timmons.

     In addition to her parents, she is survived by one daughter, Lindsey Grace Lewis of Clarendon and her fiancé’ Hugh Smith of Nakina; a sister, Gina Bullock and husband Charles of Coats; two step daughters, Tiffany Timmons of and Lynsey Timmons of Tabor City; and one step son, Donavon Timmons of Clarendon.

     She was preceded in death by one son, Aaron Mark Lewis.

    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, in Inman Ward Funeral Home.

     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, June 6, in the South Columbus High School Auditorium, burial following in Myrtle Green Cemetery.
