Patricia Ann Mincey: Nichols

1948 – 2026

     Patricia Ann Mincey of Nichols passed away on Monday, March 9, in her home. She was 77.

     Born Nov. 30, 1948 in Dillon, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Christine Daniels Wethington.

     She is survived by one daughter, Jodie Mincey of Nichols; two sons, Shane Mincey of Cerro Gordo and Rex Mincey of Wilmington; five brothers, Bruce Wethington, Rich Wethington, Bobby Wethington, Bill Wethington, and Ronnie Wethington, all of Chesapeake, Virginia; a sister, Jackie Reyes of Florida; two grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends that she loved dearly.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Marshall Mincey; and two brothers, Larry Taylor and Donald Taylor.

     A memorial service was planned for 6 p.m. Thursday, March 12, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
