James Howard Rabon: Loris

1940 – 2017

     James Howard Rabon of Loris passed away on Wednesday, May 3, at McLeod Loris hospital. He was 76.
     Born on Nov. 29, 1940 in Conway , he was the son of the late Perry Rabon and the late Ruth Hardee Rabon.
     Mr. Rabon worked in the heating and air conditioning business until his retirement and was of the Baptist faith. He will be most remembered as a loving husband, brother and devoted family man.
    Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Annie Rabon of Loris; brother, L.C. Rabon and wife, Shirley; sister, Virginia Mishoe and husband, Lennie; brothers-in-law, Frank Merck and Charles F. Merck, all of Loris, and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.
     Family planned to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 4 at Hardwick Funeral Home, Loris.
    Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m.  Friday, May 5, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with committal services following at Bethany Cemetery. Rev. Mark Hughes was to officiate services.
     Family requests that memorials be made to Bethany Baptist Church, c/o Mrs. Janice Ward, 263 Holly View Lane, Loris, SC 29569.
