Clara Norris Ward: Whiteville

1937 – 2017

     Clara Norris Ward of Hilburn Road, Whiteville, died Thursday, May 11, in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. She was 80.
     Born May 7, 1937 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Allie Norris and the widow of Elwood Ward.
     She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Lee of Chadbourn; three sons, Jimmy Ward and Dean Ward of Holden Beach, and Eddie Ward of Whiteville; a sister, Wanda Naron Enzor of Whiteville; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
     In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Lewis; and a brother, Howard Norris.
     Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, May 14, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.
     Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Monday, May 15, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, with burial following in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
