Katherine Gasque Foley: Loris

1941 – 2017

     Katherine Gasque Foley of Loris passed away on Sunday, May 7, in Huntington, West Virginia, following an illness. She was 76.
     Born March, 3, 1941 in Mullins, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Hannibal Gasque, Sr. and the late Addie Gertrude Cribb Gasque. Mrs. Foley was a loving homemaker of the Baptist faith.
     Survivors include her daughter, Cecilia Foley Chapman of Loris; two sons, Grady Lee Foley, II of North Myrtle Beach and Andrew B. Foley of Shawnee, Kansas; a brother, Charles Gasque of Marion; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Foley was predeceased by her husband, Grady Lee Foley; a daughter, Felicia Elizabeth Brown; and her sister, Elizabeth Gasque.
     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Monday, May 25, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel. Visitation was planned for the hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
     Committal service were to follow at 2 p.m. at Florence National Cemetery in Florence.
