Kenneth Alton Boyd: Loris

1941 – 2017

     Kenneth Alton Boyd of Loris passed away Saturday, May 13, at his home following an illness. He was 75.
     Mr. Boyd was born in Horry County a son of the late Alton and Mary Boyd. He was a third generation farmer and also spent time as a truck driver.
     Mr. Boyd was presently a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
     Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Pat Boyd of Loris; a son, Jerry Bullman of Spartanburg; a sister, Linda Mishoe of Loris; two brothers, Bobby Boyd of Texas and Terry Boyd of Conway; and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Rev. Ragsdale Allsbrook and Rev. Nathan Gause officiating, with burial following in the Cherry Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
     Family planned to receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
